Emily is a 6x-certified and fully licensed cosmetic tattoo artist specializing in natural microblading, combination brows and lip blush tattoos. Emily is passionate about fusing classical artistry, the golden ratio of beauty and personal style preferences to customize the perfect tattoo for each client. She has been an artist since she was just a little girl and has always had strong aesthetic skills for design, makeup artistry and painting.

Emily received her Permanent Makeup certification from the Esthetic Institute. She received her Microblading training from Branko Babic’s  International PhiBrows Microblading Academy. She also holds certificates in Combination Brows from Brows by Linnie Academy, Classic Eyeliner from the Andrea Toth Academy, Master Lip Tattooing from Lina Lu Tattoo, and Stretch Mark + Scar Camouflage from Rodolfo Torres. She has performed over a thousand procedures and is a fully licensed cosmetic tattoo artist + PMU instructor in Virginia.

In 2016, Emily founded Beauty + the Blade studio to elevate cosmetic tattooing above the typical salon experience with a plethora of services into a highly specialized niche tattoo studio hyper focused on crafting the highest quality brow tattoos.
